PLA

Our 3D Printing Workshop in Ho Chi Minh City
Good Gearz designs and prints everything in-house at our workshop at 143 Hong Lac, Bay Hien Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Open 08:00–18:00.
You can send files online for a quote, or bring your item to the workshop when it's easier to talk through size, design and production in person.
We run many FDM printers in parallel, which suits both single pieces and small batches that need to be done quickly.

About Good Gearz 3D Printing in Ho Chi Minh City
Good Gearz is a 3D printing shop in Bay Hien Ward (formerly Tan Binh District), Ho Chi Minh City. We handle custom prints from one piece to small production runs — prototypes, display models, mechanical parts, trophies, keychains, props, and anything else that can be built with FDM technology. If you have a file ready, send it and we'll quote the same day. If you only have a sketch or a reference photo, we build the 3D model for you in Autodesk Fusion before printing.
Getting started is simple. Message us on Zalo or WhatsApp at 0363 516 019 (+84 363 516 019) with your file or project description. We reply in both Vietnamese and English. You will receive a quote that includes a material recommendation, estimated print time and total cost. Once you confirm, printing can start the same day.
Turnaround depends on the job. A single small part with a ready file can be finished within hours. Larger orders or projects that need design work typically take two to five days. We delivered 30 custom crowns for the Miss Cosmo 2025 pageant in seven days.
Delivery across Vietnam. Within Ho Chi Minh City we deliver via Ahamove, Grab, Be and XanhSM, so most orders arrive within a few hours of completion. Outside the city, we ship nationwide with SPX. You can also pick up directly at our workshop at 143 Hong Lac, Bay Hien Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
Materials and quality. We print in PLA, PETG and TPU as standard, with ABS and ASA available for heat-resistant or outdoor applications. Layer heights go as fine as 0.08mm for display pieces that need a smooth surface, or 0.28mm for functional parts where speed matters more. Post-processing — sanding, painting, assembly and metallic finishes (metallic paint or silk filament) — is available if your project needs a finished look rather than a raw print.
Capability for larger parts. Our largest machine supports a 400mm build volume, so oversized parts, tall models and wide enclosures can often be printed in one piece without splitting and gluing. Bigger models, up to about 1.5 m, are printed in sections and assembled.

Can I order in English?

I don't use Zalo. How do I contact you?

Can you print a model I downloaded?
Yes. Send us the link (Printables, Thingiverse, MakerWorld or similar) or the file itself. We check that the model prints well, suggest a material and size, and send you a quote. The minimum order is 70,000đ.
I only have a photo or a hand sketch. Can I 3D print it?
Yes, but we first need to rebuild the 3D model from your image or sketch. Please send dimensions and photos from several angles. Design work is charged separately.
What file formats do you need for 3D printing?
STL and 3MF are the most common. STEP and OBJ also work.
How long does 3D printing take?
A small part with a ready file can be done within hours, often the same day. Larger orders or jobs that need design work usually take two to five days.
Do you offer resin (SLA) printing?
No. We print with FDM only, using PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS and ASA filaments. We don’t offer resin printing.
What is the accuracy of FDM 3D printing?
Tolerance is usually about ±0.2 mm, which suits prototypes and parts that don’t need extreme precision.
How big can you print?
Up to 400mm in one piece. Larger models, up to about 1.5 m, are printed in sections and assembled.
Are 3D printed products durable?
It depends on the material. PLA is hard but brittle, PETG is tough with good heat resistance, and TPU is flexible like rubber.
Is the surface of 3D printed products smooth?
FDM prints show fine layer lines. Sanding, polishing or painting gives a smooth, finished look.
How is the price of 3D printing calculated?
By material weight, print time and any design work. The minimum order is 70,000đ. See our pricing page for details.
How can I pay?
Bank transfer, Momo or cash.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes. We are a registered household business and issue electronic sales invoices. These are not VAT invoices.
Where are you and when are you open?
143 Hong Lac, Bay Hien Ward (formerly Tan Binh District), Ho Chi Minh City. Open 08:00–18:00. Pick up at the workshop or get delivery anywhere in Vietnam.
What if a print is wrong or defective?
If the defect comes from our printing, we reprint it free of charge. If it comes from the customer’s file, the file needs to be fixed before reprinting.
